Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Stem cell therapy has been proven to be an effective treatment for chronic joint pain, and most muscle, tendon, cartilage and nerve problems. During this non-surgical procedure, stem cells are injected into the problem area of the body. These stem cells encourage and speed up the body’s natural healing process, regenerating tissue in the injured area.
The stem cells that we use at Main Street Wellness & Regenerative Medicine are from a donor bank that is accredited with the American Association of Tissue Banks. Known as MSCs or Mesenchymal stem cells and numerous building blocks such as growth factors, collagens and anti-inflammatories called the Matrix, these are collected from umbilical cord gel. All of our stem cells are tested for viability and cryopreserved.

Is Stem Cell Therapy Right for You?
Stem cell therapy has been recognized by the National Institute of Health as an effective process to replace and regenerate human cells and tissues to restore normal function. This treatment is ideal for anyone that has been experiencing chronic pain from an injury or degenerative condition. This type of stem cell therapy has been proven effective to treat a wide range of conditions from osteoarthritis and back or neck injuries to chronic knee pain and tendonitis. This is a non-surgical procedure with little to no down time. Many people are choosing regenerative medicine using stem cells to avoid joint surgery or artificial replacement.

How PRP Therapy Works
During this non-invasive, out-patient treatment the patient’s own blood is drawn. Using a centrifuge, the platelets are separated from the red blood cells. The platelets, which are proven to be high in protein and effective for growth and healing, are then injected into the patient’s damaged muscle or joint. From here, these platelets go to work causing a repair response in the body.

PRP can be used on its own or combined with Stem Cells. When combined it can cut down the healing process time by 80%.
