How PRP Therapy Works

During this non-invasive, out-patient treatment the patient’s own blood is drawn. Using a centrifuge, the platelets are separated from the red blood cells. The platelets, which are proven to be high in protein and effective for growth and healing, are then injected into the patient’s damaged muscle or joint. From here, these platelets go to work causing a repair response in the body.

PRP contains several different growth factors and other cytokines that can stimulate healing of soft tissue such as muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

PRP can be used on its own or combined with Regenerative Cellular Therapy. When combined it can cut down the healing process time by 80%.

PRP Therapy for hair restoration is a technique to jumpstart hair follicle growth. PRP injections can trigger natural hair growth by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle and increasing the thickness of hair.
