Let our Chiropractic crack your back the right way

October is National Chiropractic Care Month

This October is National Chiropractic Care Month, and we at Main Street Health & Wellness recommend that all of our patients schedule chiropractic appointments in October. For October, the 2014 theme is “Conservative Care First!” The American Chiropractic Association, and our chiropractors, will use the themed month to educate patients that conservative methods of care (including chiropractic adjustments) should be first-line treatment options. All too often, people come to visit a chiropractor only after they have tried every other treatment method they can think of. Unfortunately, this means that individuals have also spent a lot of time suffering unnecessarily, when chiropractic adjustments could have alleviated their pain.

Even if you have never seen a chiropractor, but were thinking that it could be a way to relieve acute or chronic pain that you have experienced, October would be the perfect time. At Main Street Health & Wellness, we always welcome patients who are new to chiropractic care. Benefits of Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care has many benefits for individuals who suffer from a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, car accident pain, scoliosis, back pain, neck pain, and sciatica pain. Our specialists first focus on treating your pain, and then on healing the underlying injury to prevent re-aggravation.

Through musculoskeletal adjustments, patients can experience relief from their pain. Our chiropractors can offer patients stretching exercises, yoga practice, and nutrition tips that can supplement the chiropractic treatments. We believe that by combining these conservative care methods, we can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of our patients and ensure that they have the tools they need to remain healthy after their initial condition has been fully treated.
